A full appraisal is a complete exterior and interior inspection of your home. During this process the appraiser is gathering the necessary data about your home to be able to accurately value the
home with the current market.
The appraiser will:
- Take exterior and interior measurments of the property to determine the GLA (gross living area) or square footage of the home and any outbuildings that may be associated with the property.
- Take photographs of the exterior and interior of the property as a visual aide to be put into the written report.
- Make note of any deferred maintenance or damage that may effect the overall value of the home.
